If yes, then we have an opportunity for an experienced CDL Class A Driver with F.E. Moran based in the Chicagoland Area.
You Are:
- EXPERIENCED: Extensive commercial driving experience and strong directional knowledge of the greater Chicagoland area
- LICENSED: Possess a CDL Class A License; maintain DOT and license requirements; hold Illinois forklift operator’s certification
- SAFE: Adhere to all safety regulations and able to meet physical demands of the position
- FLEXIBLE: Available as needed; working additional hours including weekends
- SELF-STARTER: Proactive and will get the job done well even when without direct oversight
What You’ll Do:
- TRANSPORT: Properly secure all freight for travel; transport construction products and materials throughout the greater Chicagoland area
- RECORD: Maintain all required documentation, logbooks, and vehicle records
- CHECK: Perform frequently required vehicle inspections
- ASSIST: Provide support in the warehouse with a variety of duties, including but not limited to, operating a forklift and loading and unloading heavy materials on and off trucks
- COMMUNICATE: Effectively communicate with customers and other employees, building positive relationships
