Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care under supervision to patients in a clinical setting.

• Collect vital signs, document findings, and report changes promptly.

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and within scope.

• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health systems.

• Ensure infection control practices and safety protocols are followed.

• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the team promptly.

• Assist physicians and RNs with procedures and patient positioning.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and pursue relevant certifications.

• Collaborate within a high-visibility, target-driven healthcare environment.

• Demonstrate reliability and accountability for personal performance outcomes.

• Assist in care planning and contribute to care plan updates.

• Support patient education and provide empathetic, patient-centered care.

Experience/Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the applicable state with board verification.

• Proven competency in vital signs, documentation, and EHR data entry.

• Ability to administer medications and treatments per physician orders within scope.

• Strong infection control practices and compliance with safety protocols.

• Experience in patient assessment and timely reporting of condition changes.

• Collaborative teamwork with physicians, RNs, and care teams in fast-paced setting.

• Reliability in completing tasks, accountability for personal performance outcomes.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute to care planning and care plan updates.

• Patient education and empathetic, patient-centered communication.

• Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development and relevant certifications.
