• Job Title: Locum Tenens CT / Radiologic Technologist – Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Location: Oak Park, Illinois 60304 (Chicago metro area)
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel Healthcare Contract)
• Start Date: September 15, 2025
• End Date: December 15, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
• Call: Call rotation starts at 3:30pm; 7-10 days per month, every other weekend (Fri, Sat, Sun)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 - $2,820

Qualifications – Radiologic Technologist Jobs in Illinois

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with preferred experience in cardiac cath lab or interventional radiology
• Active IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) licenses required
• Certifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Experience with Siemens IR/CATH tables and MacLab recording system preferred
• Proficiency with Epic charting system preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Fingerprinting required in Illinois prior to start date

Responsibilities – Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist

• Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Monitor and document patient vitals and procedural data accurately
• Operate Siemens equipment, MacLab, PACS, MERGE, and Power Injector systems
• Float between Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology as needed
• Maintain sterile field and assist with scrub duties during procedures
• Participate in call rotation and provide weekend coverage as assigned
• Deliver care to adult and geriatric patient populations in a clinical support role
