Staff Accountant

LaSalle Network is hiring a Staff Accountant to join a well-established, fast-paced financial services firm with a strong broker-dealer platform. You'll work closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and seamless ledger management. Immediate availability preferred—we're moving fast!

Staff Accountant Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day general ledger tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

• Support the monthly and annual close process in compliance with GAAP and FINRA regulations

• Assist in preparing FOCUS reports, financial statements, and audit support schedules

• Reconcile brokerage transactions and clearing firm statements

• Maintain regulatory compliance and internal control standards

• Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot discrepancies and enhance processes

Staff Accountant Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance

• 1–3 years of experience within a broker-dealer or financial services environment

• Familiarity with SEC and FINRA accounting/reporting standards

• Excel wizardry and proficiency in financial platforms (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)

• Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
