Our client is seeking an Operations Systems Support professional responsible for overseeing operational platforms and reference/static data supporting post-trade processes. This individual will partner with multiple business functions to deliver system training, troubleshoot production issues, and perform detailed analysis to resolve operational or technical challenges.
The Operations Systems Support function is embedded within the broader operations team, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy, platform governance, and maintaining disciplined controls that align with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor key data interfaces linked to the firm’s operational processing platform.
Lead or support process-enhancement initiatives and technology-related projects.
Manage static data and system configurations in accordance with evolving reporting and operational requirements.
Coordinate platform updates, releases, and functional changes in alignment with business needs.
Develop daily control checks and improve workflows related to client data, operational processing, and reporting outputs.
Support regulatory and internal audit inquiries.
Maintain accurate and current operating procedures and reference documentation.
Manage departmental inboxes and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.
Uphold compliance with applicable industry rules, reporting expectations, and internal governance.
Contribute to a culture of operational discipline and represent the organization’s values with professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of five years’ experience supporting back-office or post-trade platforms within a financial services environment.
Strong understanding of listed derivatives operations, including reconciliations, position management, reporting, and static data administration.
Ability to work with business users to assess issues and translate findings into requirements for technology resources or third-party providers.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity working within regulated environments and awareness of related controls, risk considerations, and documentation expectations.
