Technical Collections Engineer

Nightwing is seeking Technical Collections Engineer/Analyst to support the missions and operations team.  The qualified candidate is versed in telecommunications technology, Wi-Fi network operations analysis, CDMA, UMTS, LTE and RF collection. In addition, the candidate possess experience as a systems administrator to troubleshoot and identify technical issues in order to optimize system performance.  As a member of this highly qualified team, the right candidate will support systems administration and signals collection. 

CLEARANCE LEVEL -Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

Required Skills

• Protocol analysis, signals analysis, network troubleshooting, network traffic characterization, and network security and analysis

• Technical competency in one of the following:

• Signals collection/analysis/protocol

• Network Engineering/Security

• Excellent communication skills

• Willingness and ability to learn new skills

Desired Skills

• Broad knowledge of hardware maintenance and care, system administration, knowledge of automation technologies, and scripting

• Knowledge of TCP/IP protocols

• Demonstrated experience providing system maintenance and health monitoring

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Virtual Machines

• Prior experience as a military Signal Collections Analyst or SIGINT Analyst

• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a small team

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree desired with 1-2 years relevant experience

• Direct relevant military experience can be applied in lieu of a degree
