Information Technology Department Coordinator | Rock Island, IL

IMEG is hiring an Information Technology Department Coordinator in Rock Island, Illinois, to support the smooth and efficient operations of the Information Technology Department. In this role, you will provide essential administrative support, maintain records, and help facilitate effective communication within the department and with external stakeholders. You will also contribute to department productivity through strong attention to detail, organization, and a proactive approach to day-to-day support.

Principal Responsibilities

• Communicate with vendors and process invoice payments
• Order supplies and coordinate delivery across multiple offices
• Coordinate department functions, meetings, and events
• Arrange travel and prepare expense reports
• Manage Information Technology communication inside and outside of the department
• Support and audit Information Technology department processing, including but not limited to onboarding employees, responding to tickets, and addressing other IMEG needs

Required Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma Required
• Associate’s Degree, or higher, preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in administrative field required
• Experience in the engineering design consulting industry preferred
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work with staff of all levels
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated and flexible
• Strong customer service orientation coupled with the ability to exhibit and maintain a positive attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays

State of Illinois Hourly Range: $28.00 – $35.00
Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on several factors including experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and stock ownership options.
