RF Design Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative RF Design Engineer to join our team, focusing on the design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of high-performance RF power amplifiers in the 50W to 100W range. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in RF circuit design and hands-on experience with development tools and lab equipment. The engineer will contribute to product development cycles from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop RF Power Amplifiers with output power levels ranging from 50W to 100W, using both GaN and LDMOS technologies.
• Perform circuit simulation and modeling using tools such as Keysight ADS, AWR Microwave Office, and Altium Designer.
• Execute schematic design, PCB layout, and prototype builds for RF hardware.
• Conduct comprehensive bench testing and validation of RF amplifier performance using test equipment like Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs), spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, firmware, and systems engineering to deliver integrated RF solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot circuit performance, identify design improvements, and implement modifications.
• Support product documentation, manufacturing transfer, and sustaining engineering activities.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (required).
• 5+ years of hands-on RF design and development experience, with a focus on power amplifier circuits.
• Proven expertise in high-power RF amplifier design (50W-100W), including thermal and impedance matching considerations.
• Proficiency in RF simulation tools such as ADS, AWR Microwave Office, and experience with Altium for PCB layout.
• Solid experience using RF lab test equipment including VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and power meters.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus):

• Experience with GaN/LDMOS transistor-based PA designs.
• Familiarity with military, aerospace, or telecom RF systems.
• Knowledge of EMC/EMI compliance and reliability testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year

Experience:

• RF power amplifier design: 5 years (Preferred)
• designing Power amplifier in the range of 50W or above: 5 years (Preferred)
• simulation and design tools : 3 years (Preferred)
• test equipment like: VNAs, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes: 3 years (Preferred)
