Location: This is a full-time on-site opportunity based in Geneva, Illinois, offering a collaborative office environment where you'll work closely with experienced attorneys and support staff while receiving hands-on mentorship.
Note: Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and have at least 2 years of personal injury litigation experience representing either plaintiffs or defendants.

Job Description
- Manage a personal injury litigation caseload from active litigation through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other litigation documents.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Attend court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences.
- Develop litigation strategy and evaluate liability, damages, and case value.
- Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, insurance carriers, medical providers, and experts.
- Negotiate settlements while preparing cases for trial when necessary.
- Collaborate with attorneys and litigation support staff to deliver outstanding client outcomes.
- Handle approximately 60 to 80 active litigation files with values ranging from approximately $25,000 to high six figures.
- Continue developing litigation and trial skills through direct mentorship from experienced attorneys.
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Bar license.
- 2+ years of personal injury litigation experience.
- Experience representing either plaintiffs or insurance defense clients.
- Strong legal writing, negotiation, and courtroom skills.
- Excellent communication and client relationship abilities.
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple active files.
- Self-motivated, coachable, and committed to exceptional client advocacy.
