An urgent opportunity is available for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a busy hospital pharmacy located west of downtown Chicago. This 13-week contract role starts on June 1 and offers a dynamic work environment with day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including rotating weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough verification and checking of inpatient medication orders.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
• Perform IV admixture verification with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Utilize EPIC EMR system to manage and document pharmaceutical tasks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of one year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience is required.
• Valid Illinois pharmacist license.
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

Schedule and Location:

• Days, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Rotating weekend shifts.
