Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a Clinical Pharmacist role focused on inpatient care at a major medical center's main campus. The position involves delivering critical pharmacy services during overnight hours, ensuring safe and effective medication use within a hospital setting. The role requires a detail-oriented pharmacist able to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Overnight shift
• Four 10-hour shifts per week (9:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties such as prescription checking and verification
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate medication preparation and delivery
• Verify and check intravenous (IV) medication orders
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacological care for patients
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and order management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is required
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail in medication management
• Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with healthcare professionals and pharmacy staff

This is a 13-week contract assignment beginning mid-June. It offers the chance to contribute to patient care within a respected academic medical setting while gaining further experience in clinical pharmacy practices.
