Floating Account Billing Clerk
:
HOURS: - Floating 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift
- Some Saturday's required
- Some Sundays on call
POSITION DESCRIPTION: - Cross train and vacation fill in for Billing and Export Clerks (1,2,3 shift), livestock clerks (1.2 shift), and other accounting duties as assigned.
- Billing includes verifying orders, generating BOL, preparing trucking packets and filing invoices
- Exports include preparing all export documents
- Livestock includes auditing scale tickets, data entry and report preparation and disbursement
- Cross train on loading dock computer operator job
- Perform various other accounting duties as needed to ensure efficiency in the Accounting Department.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Strong organizational skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous accounting and office experience preferred
- 10-key and computer skills required
- Communication skills - written and verbal including phone etiquette
- Good work history including attendance (Less than 4 points)
- Team player among all shifts
