Director of Sales - Dietary Supplements | Nutraceuticals
Our client is seeking a seasoned Director of Sales with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and managing strategic relationships in the dietary supplements industry. The ideal candidate brings deep experience working with innovative, premium branded ingredients and directly managing relationships with supplement brands. This role is pivotal to scaling the business and requires both strategic oversight and hands-on execution across domestic and international markets.
Salary: $100,000 base + commission
Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across domestic and international markets.
- Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate high-value contracts, licensing, and distribution agreements with key industry players.
- Industry Relationships: Leverage existing connections with supplement brands, especially those focused on innovative or premium ingredients to accelerate growth.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with operations and product development teams to align goals and ensure seamless execution.
- Business Development : Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities while expanding existing accounts.
Qualifications:
- Skilled in structuring and closing complex deals with major accounts.
- Strong leadership ability to motivate and guide sales teams to high performance.
Deep understanding of the dietary supplements landscape, including regulatory, distribution, and competitive dynamics. - 8+ years in progressive sales leadership roles within dietary supplements, nutraceuticals, or health & wellness.
- Proven success managing relationships with supplement brands and branded ingredient suppliers.
- Consistent track record of exceeding multimillion-dollar sales quotas and driving business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field required; MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
