Job Title: Warehouse Worker - Forklift $17/HR

Job Description

Join a dynamic team at our container management and racking warehouse system, where you will be involved in handling containers and racks for various locations. As a warehouse worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient movement and processing of these containers.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, ensuring accurate container shipments.
• Work with washing machines to load, unload, sort, stage, and scan plastic totes.
• Stand and work in process lanes to remove manufacturer tags from containers and racks using a hand-scanner.
• Repair large plastic containers using hand drills and screwdrivers. Please make sure that all tasks are completed efficiently, with attention to detail and safety.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 6 months of recent labor or forklift experience.
• Ability to pass a forklift test, including driving and pallet handling.
• Capability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work 10 hours of overtime and Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in production, loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving.
• Familiarity with hand scanners and repair tools such as drills and screwdrivers.

Work Environment

Work in a busy and active warehouse environment. Shifts include 6:00 am - 2:00 pm and 11:00 am - 7:00 pm, with breaks included. The job requires standing for entire shifts and involves tasks such as bending and using machinery. The dress code is safety-focused, with appropriate gear provided.

This is a Contract position based out of East Moline, IL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
