Strategic Project Lead with J.D. for AI Legal Model Training

Lead high-impact, domain-specific programs that train frontier AI models by serving as the primary point of contact for top AI Lab customers and managing teams of legal subject-matter experts. This role combines project ownership, data operations leadership, and executive-level communication to deliver scalable, high-integrity training data and evaluation workflows.

• Serve as the main POC for top AI Lab customers on large, high-impact projects.
• Own projects end to end, from scoping through delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and data quality.
• Design, oversee, and optimize complex, domain-specific data pipelines to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Manage teams of Human Data Managers and Team Leads who review the work of legal subject-matter experts.
• Collaborate with Human Data Engineers to define, track, and optimize KPIs across expert-driven workflows.
• Provide executive-level insights, status updates, and operational impact reporting to leadership.
• Communicate directly with senior stakeholders at AI Labs, addressing technical and domain questions and managing expectations.
• Report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and the Head of Human Data.

• Juris Doctor JD degree, required.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role driving operational processes, managing large-scale or domain-heavy data projects, or optimizing complex workflows.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with strong stakeholder management when working with senior legal experts.
• Experience in data operations, human data programs, data engineering, or computer science, or deep professional exposure in the Legal domain.
• Startup and entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias for building solutions and iterating quickly.
• Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, when required by fast-moving priorities.
• Passion for identifying inefficiencies and executing solutions rapidly in high-stakes environments.

• Core team compensation referenced as USD 400, 000 to 550, 000 per year.
• Separate national pay notice lists a base salary range of USD 180, 000 to 230, 000 per year.
• All employees are eligible for equity compensation.
