Job Overview
We are currently seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) professional to join our Care Guide team. The ideal candidate will be fluent, proficient, and confident in both written and verbal communication in English and Spanish . This role is essential in supporting the growing number of members who prefer to engage in Spanish and will play a key part in enhancing the emotional, physical, and social well-being of older adults and their caregivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct holistic assessments evaluating safety, wellness, social connectedness, and more.
- Provide case management and build trusted relationships with members and their families.
- Offer guidance, emotional support, problem-solving, and psychoeducation.
- Coordinate services and provide ongoing support by phone and digital tools in both English and Spanish.
Qualifications
- 3–4 years of experience supporting older adults and family caregivers.
- BSW degree, MSW preferred
- Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required. Must be proficient and confident in both written and verbal communication in both languages.
Functional Competencies
- Deep empathy for older adults and a strong commitment to supporting their independence.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to the diverse needs of Spanish-speaking communities.
- Ability to work flexibly and cooperatively across teams.
- Proficiency in computer systems, documentation tools, and Microsoft Office.
- Self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
