Dock Supervisor

As a Dock Supervisor based in Elk Grove Village, IL, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations, contributing to a team dedicated to excellence in freight handling and distribution. JOB DETAILS: FULL TIME, MON - FRI, 1500 START TIME, $55-$60K BASED ON EXPERIENCE, PAID WEEKLY. MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS, PTO AVAILABLE
Responsibilities
- Oversee warehouse staff and operations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and movement within the facility.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed.
- Inventory management and organization of stock.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Prior supervisory experience in shipping and receiving is essential
