Position Summary

The RLJLA program is housed in the St. Clair Drake Center at Roosevelt University in Chicago. The purpose of the Academy is to provide educational and networking opportunities for sophomore through senior high school students who attend Chicago Public Schools.

Position Description:


The teacher in the Summer Institute of Leadership will teach African American Studies or Leadership skills to high school students during a one-week educational program. The Summer Institute instructional programs run from 9 AM to 12 Noon from June 29 – July 3.



The stipend range for this position is $1000.00-$1750.00 and is based on education and experience. The position is on the Chicago campus.

• 3-5 years of teaching experience or its equivalent.

MA/PhD preferred.
