Job Title: Product Owner
Location: Chicago-IL, Denver-CO and Washington-DC
Work Arrangement: 5days onsite

Duration: 12+ months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
About the Role
An Excellent Opportunity for Product Owner’s to work with one of the Biggest Global Bank at Chicago-IL, Denver-CO and Washington-DC location.
Why:
- This is for a net new need to help with the bandwidth on the application team
- This product owner will not be overseeing a product
- At this moment the team is needs someone to coordinate and track when to open a ticket in JIRA and track the status, etc
- Will not be a traditional PO working with stakeholders, etc.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software developers, designers, quality assurance, and stakeholders to define, prioritize, and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap
- Own and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it is well-organized, up-to-date, and aligned with the overall product vision and business goals
- Translate high-level business requirements into clear and actionable user stories, ensuring that they contain well-defined acceptance criteria and align with technical capabilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring that communication flows seamlessly and that stakeholder needs are effectively addressed
- Regularly engage with stakeholders to gather feedback, capture user insights, and validate that the product is meeting their expectations
- Make informed decisions on scope, priorities, and trade-offs while considering factors such as project timelines, technical constraints, and market trends
- Conduct sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint review sessions, collaborating with the development team to ensure a clear understanding of the work to be done
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of Product Owner experience
- Not looking for traditional development knowledge
- Previous experience working with application managers & work with automation to limit & track risk and vulnerabilities
- Cyber security experience
- Working within similar environment
- Recent experience working with security ops team
- Strong excel background
- Strong JIRA knowledge
- Query language
- SAFe certification
- SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager
- Certifications
- Scrum PO Certification
Additional Information:
- Cyber Security Experience: A background in cyber security is a must, specifically for the ethical hacking product and compliance survey tools.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: Solid experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Agile Coaching. Previous experience as a Product Owner (PO) or Product Manager is critical.
- Communication Skills: The role requires strong communication abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders, technical teams, and customers.
- Product Management Focus: Understanding of product ownership responsibilities, including backlog management and stakeholder engagement.
- Organizational Skills: The role is heavily focused on organizing tasks and keeping things on track, not managing budgets or detailed financials.
- Customer Service Experience: Familiarity with customer service elements and the ability to support the team in handling user feedback and product-related questions .
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $65-$70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
