Administrative Assistant to a payroll team - Tampa, Florida
Audit and resolve time card exceptions for various clients
Maintain filing system for sensitive client documents, keeping all department and client information confidential
Review processed documents as requested
Provides administrative support to team of Payroll Specialists in a collaborative team environment
Performs other duties as assigned and required to maintain efficient team operations
Assists with year-end reporting and other year-end activities as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidates must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and/or demonstrate essential functions of the position.
Must be detail oriented, able to perform basic mathematical operations, detect recording and calculation errors quickly and efficiently
Must have Office 365 experience, provable Intermediate Excel through testing
History of handling confidential information with discretion
Ability to effectively handle multiple assignments in a dynamic environment
Communicate effectively and understand directions
Maintain company policies and procedures
Demonstrated ability to maintain harmonious and effective working relationships Education, Certification and Experience:
Associate Degree with at least one year experience in an accounting, finance, or payroll environment; experience can be substituted for education
