About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in medical surgical or acute care experience required. License: Required Certifications: BLS, phlebotomy required. Must-Have: Orthopedic experience required. Description: Position/Specialty: RN/HH Days Typical visit ratios: 5-20 visits per day on average. Productivity is based on a daily point system with a standard of 5.2. Points are assigned based on the type of visit, including labs, OASIS assessments, and other nursing duties. Candidates must possess a minimum of 1-2 years of medical surgical or acute care experience. One year of home care experience is required. Specialties that involve orthopedic experience are mandatory. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work is required every third to fourth weekend as necessary. On-call duties are necessary after hours and on weekends. Travel nurses are expected to float within their scope to meet patient care needs. Teams are formed for multi-disciplinary management of patients. Clinicians will cover an approximate territory mileage radius of 40-80 miles. Mileage will be reimbursed for required travel. Clinical visits will include wound care, intravenous therapy, post-operative assessments, and patient education. All nursing staff will represent themselves with professionalism and excellence. Competencies in phlebotomy are necessary for this role. Daily engagements will focus on assessment, management, and patient education. Adherence to compliance and documentation procedures is essential.
