Introduction

LePar Animal Hospital has been servicing the Evergreen Park/Oak Lawn/south Chicagoland area since 1948 and we continue to grow! We need more techs and assistants to help us provide amazing care for the companion animals trusted to us and the people who love them.

About Us

LePar Animal Hospital is a well-established & modern 9 doctor practice offering alternative services in addition to progressive conventional medicine. Our full-service small animal hospital offers digital radiography, digital dental radiography, digital ultrasound, in house chemistry and CBC analyzers, on-site chemotherapy services, and orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, as well as acupuncture, chiropractic care, and on-site stem cell therapy.

About You

We are looking for conscientious, self-starting and, above-all, compassionate individuals who can multi-task, excel at customer service, and would love to work around animals in a hospital setting.

About This Role

• Use your exceptional client service skills to greet and check in clients and patients and confirm the reason for the visit
• Invoice clients and collect payment
• Answer phone calls
• Schedule procedures and appointments
• Process prescription refill requests and fill medications
• Maintain electronic medical records
• Prepare paperwork for procedures and boarding guests
• Make appointment confirmation and reminder calls
• Balance drawer and prepare end of day reports
• Monitor multiple client communication platforms and perform other office tasks
  

*This position does include some evening and Saturday shifts
