One of our manufacturing client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team in Schaumburg, IL.
**Pay Rate: **$25/hr - $30/hr
**Shift: **2nd shift
Responsibilities:
Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
Diagnose equipment failures and implement timely corrective actions to minimize production downtime
Maintain and repair motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, compressors, and automated production machinery
Perform equipment inspections and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals
Assist with equipment installations, machinery upgrades, and production line improvements
Complete work orders and maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS software
Qualifications:
Associate's Degree preferred or Trade School Certificate in Industrial Maintenance or a related field
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong troubleshooting skills involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
Experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery, conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, and automated equipment
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and industrial automation systems
Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is an asset
