Quality Engineer
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality systems in compliance with requirements.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for quality processes and ensure compliance with control plans, work instructions, inspection procedures, P-FMEA and other quality standards.
- Perform process audits, layered process audits (LPA), and product inspections.
- Lead and support PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions for new and existing products.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to ensure accurate
- Interpretation of engineering drawings.
- Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) analysis to monitor and improve manufacturing processes.
- Manage and maintain gage calibration programs to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits for ISO9001 compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze customer complaints and implement corrective actions using root cause analysis tools.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial with five-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the WINDOWS XX OS environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the MS OFFICE product family.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, PPAP, GD&T, SPC, and gage calibration systems.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and 8D problem-solving.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
