As a Staff Software Engineer specializing in blockchain, you'll lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and distributed systems powering digital asset services. You'll work across a modern stack of technologies and contribute to mission-critical services that support fintech and crypto platforms globally. This role offers significant autonomy, direct stakeholder engagement, and the chance to make a measurable impact in a high-growth startup environment.

Accountabilities:

• Architect and implement backend features, including blockchain-focused services like staking-as-a-service.
• Design and develop microservices using Golang within an event-driven architecture.
• Maintain a wide array of digital assets and collaborate with platform engineers to launch new services.
• Participate in on-call rotations and proactively resolve production issues.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for internal stakeholders and external technical teams.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions with high standards of security and quality.

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience, ideally in fintech or distributed systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Golang ; experience in Rust, Python, Elixir, C++ , or Erlang is a plus.
• Strong grasp of microservices, event-driven systems, and cryptographic protocols.
• Experience deploying software across multi-region cloud infrastructures.
• Solid testing practices and a strong understanding of secure software design.
• Proven leadership experience translating business requirements into technical execution.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Bonus: experience with blockchain protocols , smart contracts , or open-source contributions in the crypto space.
