About the Team The Government Services department focuses on the provision of asset verification for federal, state and county agencies who determine eligibility for publicly funded programs. About the Role As a Senior Data Entry Specialist, your purpose is to oversee the accuracy and completeness of data input and output. You will be responsible for ensuring that all data is recorded and processed in a timely and efficient manner. This role is fully onsite in our Evanston, IL office. Working hours are 8:30AM - 5:00 PM CT. (May occasionally have to work other shift times to assist in coverage for other team members who are on PTO.) You will be responsible for: - Meeting productivity and quality requirements entering financial and account balance data provided by financial institutions.
- Maintaining required records in the completion of data entry tasks and conducting quality control work.
- Sorting incoming mail and operating an envelope inserter for daily mail and other mail equipment.
- Following up with financial institutions on requests with missing account information (bad requests) to obtain the correct information.
- Training new or current team members on processes and procedures. Documenting these processes and procedures and record training videos.
- Performing all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Have 10-key skills and ability to type at least 50 WPM. (A Data Entry test and WPM test will be given during the interview.)
- Must be able to obtain SSA Security Clearance as a condition of employment/continued employment.
- Have high school diploma at minimum. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Have Microsoft Suite skills.
- Have thorough attention to detail and a commitment to the highest quality of performance. Able to multi-task.
- Have self-motivated and reliable work ethic, and proficient at working independently as well as in a team.
- Have ability to adapt and adjust to new situations or demands. Must be able to function effectively with a minimum of confusion or loss of productivity.
- Have ability to work some company holidays with compensation (day after Independence Day, day after Thanksgiving, etc.) and occasional overtime.
