Lead Host – Deliz
Deliz is seeking a poised, experienced, and hospitality-driven Lead Host to join our team. We are a high-volume, upscale dining restaurant looking for a strong front door leader who understands that the guest experience begins the moment they walk in.
Position SummaryThe Lead Host is responsible for overseeing the host stand, managing reservation flow, and ensuring seamless communication between the front door and the dining room. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain warmth and professionalism in a fast-paced fine dining environment.
ResponsibilitiesLead and support the host team during service
Manage and optimize reservation flow
Accurately plot and adjust tables using OpenTable and/or SevenRooms
Maintain clear communication with management and floor staff
Greet guests with polish, confidence, and genuine hospitality
Manage wait times effectively while keeping guests comfortable and in good spirits
Handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
Uphold service standards consistent with upscale/fine dining expectations
Minimum 2+ years of experience in high-volume upscale or fine dining
Strong working knowledge of OpenTable and/or SevenRooms
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Professional appearance and communication style
Ability to stay composed and solutions-oriented under pressure
Natural leadership presence at the host stand
