Job Description

We are seeking a Field Service Technician who thrives on solving mechanical issues and enjoys hands-on work. This role requires travel across the region up to 50% of the time, including potential out-of-state plane travel. Some weekend work may be required, with overtime available approximately 5% of the time. We are looking for curious and mechanically minded problem-solvers who are confident communicators and can build trust with customers. The ideal candidate is reliable, accountable, and thrives in an autonomous work environment. You should be adaptable, eager to learn, and committed to precision and safety.

Responsibilities

• Travel to various customer sites, including out-of-state, up to 50% of the time.

• Conduct troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.

• Interact with customers to explain findings and build rapport.

• Manage your own schedule and work independently.

• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

• Use technology such as service software, tablets, and measurement instruments effectively.

• Model company values, including integrity, openness, and embracing change.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

• Electromechanical skills for troubleshooting systems.

• Proficiency in Excel for data entry and basic formula use.

• Strong communication skills for interacting with various professionals.

• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to multiple sites.

• Presentation skills for maintaining a professional appearance.

Work Environment

You will travel to customer sites, working in environments such as clean rooms, fume hoods, biosafety cabinets, and medical HVAC systems. You will be provided with a company vehicle after three months of employment. This is a Permanent position based out of Gurnee, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.

Medical: 100% for Employee & all Dependents Dental & Vision: 100% for Employee, 85% for dependents 401K: 3% Match PTO: Uncapped. Just don't abuse it and we will never track.
