Launch your legal career in commercial real estate with JLLs Legal Summer Internship Program. This opportunity provides hands-on experience in our fast-paced collaborative environment where youll work directly with our in-house legal team and business partners across multiple service lines.

As a legal intern youll gain comprehensive exposure to the commercial real estate industry while contributing meaningfully to our teams success. Youll support various legal matters conduct research and develop practical skills that will serve as a strong foundation for your career in real estate law.

Program Overview:

• Start Date: June 2026
• Duration: 8-10 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)
• Location: Chicago IL with remote work flexibility

Qualifications:

• Current law school student having completed 1L or 2L year
• Strong academic performance
• Genuine interest in commercial real estate and business law

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Strong analytical and research capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous exposure to real estate or business law
• Experience with legal research platforms
• Familiarity with data analysis and technology tools

Estimated compensation for this position:

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications location market conditions and internal considerations.
