Regulatory Coordinator
This position will manage the monitoring, tracking, review, and management of regulatory actions to help ensure alignment with company goals and compliance requirements. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating cross-function review, and supporting response efforts across G&W Electric.
As a Regulatory Coordinator you will:
- Monitor regulatory agencies for proposed regulatory actions and revisions to items of interest to the company.
- Coordinate subject matter expert review of regulations and discussions with legal resources as needed.
- Coordinate public responses to regulatory agencies.
- Support identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives as a result of regulations
- Act as liaisons between their organization and state, local, federal, and international agencies to submit required forms and paperwork.
- Assist with monitoring compliance to laws and standards.
- Assist with explaining regulations, procedures, and policies to all employees and stakeholders as necessary.
- Maintain data and files for future reference, particularly in the event of an audit by a regulatory agency.
- Regularly report on compliance status and measures to both internal and external parties.
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an Associate’s degree or equivalent experience – Preferred major Science/Technical field or Legal/Paralegal
- Has 2 – 5 years of office experience, preferably with a manufacturing organization
- Must be able to read and summarize technical English documents.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to analyze large amounts of data and summarize into clear conclusions and recommendations
- Strong attention to detail required
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Excellent judgment and organization skills
- Ability to perform intermediate Excel functions such as pivot tables, filters, sorting, and subtotals
- The ability to read and comprehend regulatory document
What we offer you:
Typical pay is $56,636 – 69,379 annually.
