We free everyone to safely use any technology, anywhere, on any device or app. Our flexible and neutral products, Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform, provide secure access, authentication, and automation, placing identity at the core of business security and growth. At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we’re looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences. Join our team! We’re building a world where Identity belongs to you.About Okta for AI Agents
Okta for AI Agents is a new business unit focused on securing agentic identity. As enterprises move AI agents from pilots to production, they face fundamental questions: How do agents authenticate? How do you control what they can access? How do you govern agent-to-agent communication? We're building the products and go-to-market motion to answer these questions at scale.
This team reports to the SVP & GM, Okta for AI Agents, and operates with startup speed inside Okta. We're defining a new category.
Solutions Architect, Professional Services
As a Professional Services Solution Architect, you will deliver AI security solutions to enterprise customers. You'll run discovery workshops, design architectures, build POCs, and support production deployments. This is hands-on delivery work in customer environments.
Working closely with our sales, product, and engineering teams, you'll guide customers from initial technical discovery through successful deployment. Your implementations become the proof points that drive market adoption and the patterns that other teams follow.
What you’ll be doing
- Customer Discovery: Lead technical discovery workshops to map customer AI agent deployments, identify security gaps, and define solution requirements. Understand their architecture and translate business objectives into technical implementation plans.
- Solution Architecture: Design end-to-end AI security architectures covering agent identity, token management, fine-grained authorization, and human-in-the-loop controls. Build and deliver POCs that validate architectures in real customer environments.
- Implementation & Deployment: Configure and deploy Okta AI security capabilities in production. Troubleshoot integration issues and provide hands-on technical support. Create customer-specific documentation including architecture diagrams, runbooks, and operational guides.
- Product Feedback: Translate implementation learnings into reusable patterns and product requirements. Work with engineering to ensure our platform addresses real-world deployment challenges.
What you’ll bring to the role
- 5+ years of experience in customer-facing technical delivery: professional services, solutions engineering, or implementation consulting
- Experience delivering in enterprise environments with complex requirements and multiple stakeholders
- Strong foundation in identity and security: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, token exchange, API security
- Hands-on experience with AI platforms and agent frameworks: Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce, AWS Bedrock, LangChain, or similar
- Comfortable with Python, Node.js, and debugging complex integrations in production environments
- Excellent customer communication skills with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs to security architects and executives
- Problem-solving mindset. When something breaks, you dig in until it's fixed.
This is leading-edge work. AI agent security implementations are new territory and there's no playbook. You'll build it through real customer deployments. Expect high velocity, customer travel, and rapid iteration. We need builders who write code, configure systems, and solve problems in real-time.
Show us your work: We value candidates who can demonstrate their experience. Share your GitHub, AI agents you've built, or examples of customer implementations you've delivered.
