Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to support our commercial real estate practice. The ideal candidate can manage multiple deadlines, communicate effectively with internal and external parties, and handle all aspects of transaction preparation and closing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct due diligence by reviewing leases, loan documents, title and survey materials, zoning reports, and corporate records.
- Coordinate with title companies, surveyors, lenders, clients, and opposing counsel throughout the transaction process.
- Manage closing logistics, track deliverables, coordinate signatures, and organize electronic closing rooms.
- Maintain case files, document management systems, and transaction databases.
- Assist with post-closing tasks, including filings with government agencies and preparation of final binders.
Qualifications:
- Experience with multi-property or multi-lender transactions.
- Knowledge of NYS real estate law and commercial lending.
- Familiarity with e-signature platforms and hybrid closing workflows.
