Cornerstone Restaurant Group (CRG), based in Fulton Market, is seeking talented Line Cooks to help lead the opening of CRG’s newest restaurant, Dimmi Dimmi , nestled in the Lincoln Park neighborhood and set to open August 2025. The restaurant will be Tuesday through Sunday dinner only, brunch on the weekends. Training will be the two weeks prior to the opening and will include day time hours.

With Dimmi Dimmi , CRG is reimagining the iconic neighborhood Italian spot with bold red-sauce staples, classic cocktails, and a warm, buzzing vibe. It’s where timeless tradition meets modern energy, brought to life with heartfelt hospitality and moments made to share.

Line Cook Responsibilities

• Perform many basic tasks of food preparation and organization in the kitchen.

• Effectively communicate with other members of the kitchen staff.

• Report to duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform.

• Run the line during service, ensuring that the highest standards are met and that communication between all sections and restaurant departments is efficient and polite.

• Produce menu items for service, maintaining high standards to achieve the correct quality, appearance and portion size.

• Monitor the quality and presentation of dishes so that only those which meet our high standards are served to our guests.

• Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and through ongoing diligence during the shift and in set-up and clean-down procedures.

• Observe the company’s fire plan and health safety policy.

• Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives.

General Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.

• High school education or equivalent.

• 1-2 years of experience.

• Basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to deal with guests in a professional manner while maintaining a composed demeanor in high stress situations.

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds on a regular basis.

• Frequent long periods of standing and walking are expected during the workday.

• Ability to reach for objects and stoop or bend as needed to perform job duties.

• This position may involve visual and auditory tasks, including the ability to see and hear adequately to perform job functions.
