Strategic Sourcing Manager (IT)

Responsibilities:

Position Responsibilities :

  • Lead sourcing efforts and negotiations in assigned categories
  • Developing Strategies to improve cost structure and optimize spend through early involvement in sourcing lifecycle
  • Negotiating complex agreements in Sourcing categories
  • Collaborating with Leadership to manage and execute defined Sourcing Plans through the development and distribution of RFx’s (RFI, RFQ, RFP), vendor communications, and development of vendor selection criteria
  • Propose and lead initiatives to drive ongoing evolution of sourcing frameworks, processes and best practices
  • Proactively developing effective business relationships with vendors, stakeholders, and internal key decision makers
  • Othe r duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s D egree in B usiness or other related professional discipline and 6 plus years of Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Vendor Management or related business experience o r High School Diploma /General Education Diploma with 9 plus years of above related experience
  • Strong vendor and contract negotiation experience

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Master’s D egree
