Warehouse Team Member (Seasonal)

In this exciting role you will be responsible for supporting all functions within the distribution center environment including but not limited to shipping, receiving, returns, insert operations and other general warehouse operations. The incumbent must follow pre-determined productivity guidelines, of each department; as scheduled, in an accurate and efficient manner. Works under immediate supervision and relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to work Monday- Friday 6:30AM-3PM (some weekends may apply) .
• Load shipping lines and label product.
• Load and unload material in shipping and receiving areas.
• Delivers stock from warehouse to processing area as directed.
• Pick orders, pack, labels and product verification. Process Direct Mail returns. Shipping document preparation (UPS log, Bill of Lading, etc.).
• Maintain stock in order, checks requisitions, stock and other forms pertaining to flow of material.
• Operates power material handling equipment to transport materials, supplies and equipment between designated areas.
• Follows detailed instructions as to sizes and type of containers, use of packing details, and packing procedures.
• Pre-inspect product for processing, shipping, inventory and/or returns

Miscellaneous Duties

• Count, tallies or labels materials as directed and obtains signatures on receipts.
• Performs basic preventive maintenance on material handling equipment, mechanical and safety inspection.
• Properly packs a wide variety of items into cartons, boxes, and similar containers for shipment.

Required Qualifications

• 1-2 years work experience in the field or related work environment; experience working on a production line is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent; or equivalent work experience.
• Good basic math skills
• Good basic reading skills
• Basic Data Entry skills
• Power material handling equipment
• Ability to follow detailed instructions

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $16.00 per hour
