You clock in at our fully automated, vertically integrated facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois. First stop: review the day’s build list, study prints, and confirm the bill of materials. You cue up the ERP work orders, then move to the floor—dialing in a saw cut, bending a tube to spec, and forming a bracket on the press brake. A quick polish removes a scratch, and you double-check tolerances before assembly. Throughout the day, you keep your area organized, collaborate in a brief team huddle, and log progress in the ERP. By day’s end, a set of tight-tolerance aluminum components is ready for shipment—built with speed, consistency, and craftsmanship.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble aluminum parts using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
• Interpret engineering prints, bills of materials, and work instructions to build accurately
• Operate saws, tube benders, press brakes, and related shop tools
• Inspect components for cosmetic and dimensional defects (e.g., scratches, dents) to ensure quality
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow safety protocols
• Use the ERP system to manage work orders and production documentation
• Join team meetings and participate in ongoing training

What You Bring

• Experience in fabrication or assembly in a manufacturing setting preferred
• Blueprint reading skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions
• Mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail
• Capability to stand, lift, and work with your hands for extended periods
• Basic computer skills; ERP familiarity is a plus
• Clear communication in English
• Willingness to work overtime when needed

Compensation

The reasonable hourly range for this position is $18–$30 USD. Actual pay may fall within, above, or below this range based on factors such as education, training, experience, professional accomplishments, business needs, and location.
