Radiologic Technologist Job Details Location: Chicago, IL 60617 (Travel healthcare job) Facility Type: Acute care hospital with 205 beds and Level II NICU Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: July 7, 2025 – End: October 4, 2025) Shift: 8-hour night shifts (potential start times: 12:00 or 23:00) Hours per Week: 40 Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,420 - $2,480 Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Expectations: 1 summer and 1 winter holiday Parking: Free on-site parking Scrub Color: Grey Radiology Technologist Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) Active ARRT certification required BLS certification (American Heart Association) Proficient with portable x-rays, chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-Arm, surgical imaging, and fluoroscopy Experience with EPIC EMR and GE PACS/X-ray equipment Ability to float throughout the hospital for portable imaging assignments Strong communication and teamwork skills Radiologic Technologist Responsibilities Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including chest x-rays, long bone studies, fluoroscopy, and surgical imaging Deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency department and inpatient settings Operate and maintain GE X-ray machines and C-Arm equipment Accurately document procedures and patient information using EPIC EMR Float to various hospital units for portable imaging as needed Participate in hospital orientation and unit-specific training Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes Apply now to join our Chicago healthcare team as a Travel Radiologic Technologist and take the next step in your radiology career!
