Family Visitation Center - Visit Monitor (Saturday-Sunday) 3pm-11pm
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Completed the 40 hour domestic violence training, or are able to complete this agency-paid training within 6 months of hire required.
- Experience working with children and families affected by domestic violence preferred.
- You must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ensure a safe environment by checking the visit room for safety, correcting any issues, and ensuring that toys available are age appropriate for child(ren) using the room.
- Supervise visits between children and parents/ family members, including introducing children and family members to the visit room, monitoring the visit for safety and appropriate interactions and guiding parents in behavior management, if needed.
- Provide a safe and smooth transition from one parent to the other at the Family Visit Center for families who require an intermediary in the exchange.
- Complete intake paperwork with clients and enter information with accuracy into program database; complete ongoing documentation as required by program.
- Complete assessments and refer clients to additional services and resources.
- Provide court testimony as a member of the program team.
- Compensation: Range is between $16.60-$18.47 per hour, offers are commensurate with experience. The salary range provided represents our current estimate for this role at the time of posting and is subject to change. The final salary will be determined based on a range of factors, including but not limited to, a candidate's relevant experience, education, qualifications, skills, certifications, and alignment with organizational needs.
