Account manager - USA
As a result of exciting business growth, Amiculum is seeking an ambitious account manager to join our team within one of our publication and scientific communications accounts. This role offers a perfect opportunity for a self-driven individual who will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, manage multiple projects and activities at once, and serve as a key communicator with client and internal teams.
The role
As an account manager, you will play a key role in leading and coordinating day-to-day account activities, and building and maintaining client relationships while ensuring project delivery on time and on budget. Strong organizational skills are critical, including the ability to manage multiple activities / workstreams in parallel, along with a good understanding of key industry compliance standards such as GPP. You will work closely with our internal teams, client and external stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact, fostering trust and delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate effectively with Editorial, Client Services, Digital and Design colleagues to ensure the smooth running of projects from briefing to delivery by playing a pivotal role in activities such as, but not limited to:
- Developing and maintaining client-related documents and communications, including timelines and tracking documents
- Driving and maintaining comprehensive project status, ensuring all activities are on track, on time and on budget with all relevant teams informed and aware of role, briefs and expectations
- Leading and ensuring appropriate follow up for client and internal meetings for seamless project coordination
- Manage project budgets, including forecasting, invoicing and financial reporting to clients
- Contribute to resource planning and the development of new project proposals
- In collaboration with the account team lead, establish and build positive long-term relationships with client teams, authors/KOLs and internal teams
What you’ll need
- At least 2 years’ experience in a client services role within a healthcare communications agency
- The ability to communicate effortlessly and effectively with both colleagues and clients
- Exceptional project, organizational and financial management skills
- An excellent eye for detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- A drive for innovation and an enthusiasm for exploring new ideas and approaches to grow our client accounts
