Administrative Assistant
The Village of Sleepy Hollow is looking for qualified applicants to fill a part-time Administrative Assistant position in its Administration Department. This role is responsible for general office and receptionist duties, as well as supporting the Village Administrator by performing clerical tasks and fulfilling operational responsibilities for the effective administration of the Village. The Administrative Assistant will report directly to the Village Administrator.
This position salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications and is classified as part-time and non-exempt. You can expect to work approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday and between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., though the schedule may be adjusted with the supervisor's approval.
The successful candidate should possess general office experience, with involvement in municipal accounting considered an asset. Knowledge and experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite, (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is required.
