What You’ll Do
As an Entry-Level Garage Door Technician, you'll train and work alongside experienced technicians to learn how to:
- Install and service residential and custom wood garage doors and openers
- Install and service commercial garage doors and openers
- Diagnose and repair common mechanical and electrical issues
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and company vehicles safely
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and teammates
- Maintain a clean, organized job site and represent the company professionally
Job Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates should meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (required)
- 1 year of electrical or troubleshooting experience (preferred)
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in a team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
- Valid driver’s license with minimal to no infractions
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
