Accounting Team Leader Responsibilities

• Teach and help your team grow to be even more awesome.
• Be a mentor to your team to ensure they have a proper growth path within our firm
• Hold weekly team (pod) meetings to discuss any client issues and team capacity constraints
• Meet weekly with other team leaders and VP of Client Services to discuss new client staffing and departmental issues
• Hold monthly 1 on 1 with each person on your team to discuss their development and happiness
• Perform quarterly and annual performance reviews for each team member to hold them accountable and ensure their progression
• Shadow your teams’ monthly client meetings to give them feedback about their client communication
• Survey clients each month to ensure their happiness with your team
• Serve as an escalation point for clients when they are unhappy with your teams’ service level.
• Analyze profit margins by client to ensure we’re delivery high quality and profitable work to our clients.
