An opportunity is available for a skilled pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience to contribute expertise in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This contract position offers a dynamic schedule with a mix of days, evenings, and rotating weekends, providing exposure to diverse inpatient pharmacy operations.

Location:

• Des Plaines, IL

Contract Duration:

• 13-week assignment starting March 23

Schedule:

• Mix of day and evening shifts
• Rotating weekends

Responsibilities:

• Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties, including medication verification and checking
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate and efficient workflow
• Verify IV medication preparations
• Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for documentation and order verification

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Current Illinois pharmacist license
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment
