Shifts: 3-12 hour shifts (7p-7a), rotating weekends and holidays


Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN for a Travel position within the Intensive Care Unit in Peoria, Illinois. This role offers a dynamic work environment catering to critical care patients, including post-surgical and cardiac care, as well as respiratory failure cases. Nurses will be working in an acute care setting, managing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2-3.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Manage and provide care for critically ill patients including ventilated patients
• Administer and titrate a range of medications and drips, including Precedex, Propofol, and Fentanyl
• Provide PEG tube care and management, as well as care for patients with CVC/PICC and tracheostomies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
• Troubleshoot and operate respiratory equipment such as Cpap, BiPap, and ventilators

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

• Active IL RN license or in the application process
• BLS, ACLS (AHA) certifications
• Experience with PEG tube care, CVC/PICC usage, and titration of sedation drips
