Welder – Sterling, Illinois

Our customer in Sterling, Illinois is seeking skilled and reliable individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting Welders to work full-time on 2nd shift. This role offers steady, Monday–Friday work and the opportunity to put your MIG and TIG welding skills to use in a supportive, safety-focused environment. Responsibilities of the Welder:
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metals according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Pass company-required welding certification before starting production work.
• Set up welding equipment and select proper welding techniques for each project.
• Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
• Work from technical instructions, measurements, and shop drawings.
• Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and operational condition.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.

Welder Requirements and Qualifications:
• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Must be able to pass company-required weld certification.
• Good hand–eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Steel-toed boots required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Pay for Welder: $22.42/hour.
