We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Class B CDL Overnight Route Delivery Driver. The schedule is 4 days on 3 days off. Weekends and holidays required. They are a 24/7 operation. 7:30PM until the route is finished! You will be delivering fresh food daily which includes sandwiches, milk, bread, bakery and other items to convenience stores across Illinois 365 days per year.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES:

Accurately deliver fresh food products to convenience stores according to assigned schedule and established route.
Must be able to follow written and GPS directions to locate stores on route.
Must be able to operate an electronic tablet.
Ensure proper set points are used on trucks to promote safe product delivery.
Complete pre-trip/post-trip on trucks daily and be able to write up any deficiencies.
Pick up all empty trays from every store at every delivery.
Must clean out trucks and report any major cleanliness issues to supervisors right away.
Must complete check in with driver process with each store daily.
Work in warehouse of 38-70 degrees to load and unload truck (if required), verify order counts and complete necessary paperwork.
Provide courteous and professional customer service, accurate and on time delivery to stores.
Safely operate, maintain and clean a 24-28 foot straight box truck.
Attend and successfully complete required training sessions, safety courses and informational meetings as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 21 years of age and comply with D.O.T. regulations and have a valid driver’s license in the state in which you reside.
One year previous Class B Local Route delivery driving and backing experience operating a box truck doing a physical job. This is not a sit behind the wheel position.

Must be able to load truck, lift up to 75 pounds on a repetitive basis, push/pull up to 300 lbs of product using a four-wheel dolly.
Must be able to speak and understand the English language.
Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical, drug screen and a criminal background check.
Must be able to work in CDC temperatures of 38-70 degrees F.
Must be able to work in all outside weather conditions.
Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, and turning, pushing, pulling, twisting and frequent reaching over shoulder height, waist level and from floor.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced nighttime environment.
Must be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screen, physical/lifting assessment, criminal background and motor vehicle record check with minimal accidents and tickets within past 3 years and no DUIs within past 5 years.
