HALO is looking for a NetSuite Engineer who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, maintainable NetSuite customizations and integrations that support ongoing business operations and growth. As part of HALO’s internal NetSuite team, this role will help shape development standards, environment management practices, and documentation processes to ensure a sustainable and efficient NetSuite ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, test, and deploy SuiteScript 2.x solutions following structured Dev/Test/Prod environment practices
  • Lead the development and maintenance of NetSuite customizations, including scripts, records, fields, workflows, and integrations, with a focus on scalability and best practices
  • Contribute to the expansion and optimization of HALO’s NetSuite instance by supporting subsidiary onboarding and continuous system improvements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and implementation partners to turn business requirements into well-architected technical solutions
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of a CI/CD process for NetSuite development
  • Ensure strong documentation practices for all customizations, integrations, and processes
  • Participate in regular code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and adherence to standards
  • Develop and enforce coding standards for NetSuite development to promote maintainability, scalability, and long-term system health
  • Stay current with NetSuite updates and best practices, and share relevant insights or recommendations to support continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing within the NetSuite platform
  • Strong proficiency with the NetSuite customization platform, including SuiteScript 2.x, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, and related configuration tools
  • Proven experience managing solution deployments across NetSuite environments with attention to lifecycle integrity and change control
  • Solid understanding of NetSuite governance limits and script performance best practices
  • Experience with source control tools and associated best practices
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex NetSuite issues and deliver effective, scalable solutions
  • Excellent communicator with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders -Who are they working with the most? Client Facing?
  • Skilled in writing documentation that supports knowledge transfer, team collaboration, and long-term system maintainability

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working in a NetSuite OneWorld environment
  • Experience using SuiteCloud Development Framework (SDF)
  • Experience driving best practices around DevOps (CI/CD), testing, and change management
  • NetSuite certifications such as SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant, or SuiteCloud Developer are a plus
  • Experience supporting ERP systems in rapidly growing or scaling organizations

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $130,000 annually. Please note that this pay range serves as a general guideline and reflects a broad spectrum of labor markets across the US. While it is uncommon for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the range, compensation decisions are influenced by various factors. At HALO, these include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, location, education and training, key skills, internal equity, external market data, and broader market and business considerations.
