About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Urbana, Illinois, 61801!

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department who will provide high-quality patient care using the nursing process, clinical best practices, and advanced technology in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive patient care within the ED setting
• Perform initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Implement and continuously evaluate nursing interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensure patient and staff safety by adhering to protocols and reporting hazards
• Communicate effectively to resolve issues and improve care delivery
• Support peer development and contribute to a collaborative work environment

Schedule Details

• 36 hours/week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• 2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule
• Mandatory 2-week night rotation

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant nursing experience
• Active Illinois RN License (in good standing)
• Certifications required:
  • BLS (AHA)
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
• Experience with EPIC system preferred

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
