Job Title: Environmental Services Technician

Location: Elmhurst, IL (Onsite)

Job Type: Contract – 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Environmental Services Technician to support facility cleanliness and operational efficiency. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and well-organized environment while supporting staff and daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Cleaning & Sanitation

• Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of carts, delivery trucks, and facility areas
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control

Facility Maintenance

• Ensure cleanliness of floors, surfaces, and common areas
• Maintain a professional and organized work environment

Inventory & Supply Management

• Monitor and replenish materials, dry goods, and paper supplies
• Ensure availability of necessary resources for uninterrupted operations

Operational Support

• Support technicians and staff by ensuring materials and equipment are readily available
• Assist with daily operational needs as required

General Upkeep

• Take ownership of overall facility cleanliness and organization
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and workflow

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience preferred

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with a proactive, “can-do” mindset
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
