Senior Accountant

Reviews general ledger transaction journals for accuracy. Prepares schedules, analysis, and reconciliations as needed and provides assistance to the health system leadership team. Coordinates and participates in the preparation of reports. Coordinates annual external audit activities and performs internal audits to ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls. Reports to the Director of Accounting.
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred
Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
Understanding of GAAP
Experience with general ledger transactions and month/year end close
Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
